Review content:
I went to David's Bridal in June of '08 because we were putting our wedding together in a month, so there was no time to order. I decided to go here because I had shopped there years ago when my daughter was in high school for her prom dresses. Boy, was this a complete disappointment this time around. The consultant I was put with was pushy and rude. I had an idea of what I was looking for and looked at several dresses before deciding on one. I did get my bridesmaid dresses from here; however, they didn't need the alterations department. I will say that the alteration process for my dress was pleasant, unlike buying it. Now, my daughter is getting married and while home for spring break, she wanted to go and look at dresses there. The consultant was nice at first, and then she told him that her wedding wasn't going to be until May of '11. All she wanted to do was try on some dress styles that she had chosen to see what would look best on here. He became rude did not help, except for pulling some dresses. He was running around helping others looking at bridesmaid gowns because they were in weddings coming up. I feel that, even if her wedding is 2 years away, she should still be given the same type of service as other brides. When he was cleaning up the dressing room, he walked right by us with the dresses and didn't even acknowledge my daughter, myself, my mother, or the maid of honor; he did not bother to ask if he could be any further assistance. Service here for new brides and their families should be a pleasant and happy experience, instead their customer service here is very weak and just plain poor. Pros: the selection is great for smaller sizes, its a one stop shop (like Walmart) Cons: customer service is horrible, and the values are not always a true value, Sales are ""final""!
