I also went to the Skippers on 82nd by Madison High School... I had hoped since it was a ""new"" place the food would be good and the people nice. OMG!!! The food was awful. The chowder was runny and gross, the food had been sitting forever and was cold and the ""waitstaff"" informed me that they dont have a dishwasher and the ice machine is ""scary"" because it is ""soooo dirty"". I asked about the bar which is always ""about to open"" and guess what? I IS NEVER GOING TO OPEN! How the Health department hasn't shut this place down yet is beyond me.
If you want to go someplace and pay too much money for some gross food in a place where the owner has no experience or even a food handlers car, then go here! You will puke the next day and for a few more days after that.
Did I mention the owners girlfriend cooks food at a deep fryer while holding her INFANT BABY!!!!! No joke!
