Review content:
This school is now for grades Pre-Kindergarten to 4th. Absolutely stunning. The teachers are extremely good with children, highly qualified, and involve the parents in every aspect of their child's education. In-depth progress reports on your child. Amazing lunch selection and a fine array of extracurriculars. The Spanish language is taught to the older children. Principal Maureen Dodd cooperates with other local schools to provide adequate preparation for your child as he or she transitions to the next level of education. This school is part of the Regional School District 10 (Connecticut) education system, which includes Lake Garda Elementary (a second elementary school in Burlington), a middle school (Har-Bur) and a high school (Lewis S. Mills). The superintendent, Paula Schwartz, brings decades of experience to the administration. Extremely clean school, updated, fresh curriculum, and many, many opportunities for the best and brightest students to advance further and be challenged, including the Math Olympics, higher-level texts to read from, and a ""think-out-of-the-box"" math curriculum. This review was written by a former student who currently has a younger brother in the school system and who now attends Lewis S. Mills High School. Pros: Fantastic teachers, curriculum, and extracurricular activities. A brand-new playground. Cons: Staggered dismissal times between the four schools may prove a bit inconvenient.
