Review content:
Tailswinds Pet Resort proved to be a nightmare for us and our dog. We entrusted our dog to Tailswinds for six days while we went out of state. It was an enormous mistake. During our absence he was dropped or fell or jumped from a grooming table. Tailwind's owner admitted he hadn't been tethered. As a result, our dog sustained a serious back injury. He was in enormous pain and required spinal surgery. The unprofessional manner in which Tailwinds handled the situation made a horrible situation worse. Our dog has been through hell. He has lost weight and has a seriously diminished appetite. He is having to learn to walk again and must be carried up and down stairs indefinitely. He requires medication twice a day and must undergo physical therapy. We have been caring for him through vomit, diarrhea and incontinence. To date, our dog's medical expenses stand at about $4000.00. If we hadn't been able to pay for the surgery, we would have had to euthanize our dog to spare him the excruciating back pain that prevented him from walking. Tailwinds refused to assume the cost of his surgery or medical treatment, stating that ""accidents happen"" and that their insurance doesn't cover this type of incident. Please don't make the same mistake we did by entrusting your dog to Tailwinds. I would never want what happened to us to happen to anyone else.
