Limelight is the best karaoke club in Boston, hands down. They have both private ""japanese-style"" karaoke boxes that can be rented by the hour (perfect for those with a bit of stage fright) and a stage in a bar atmosphere where patrons can sit down and order drinks and snacks while alternately serving as both audience and performer. I was surprised to find that everyone there was having a good time - very few if any of those awkward too-afraid-to-sing or even dance along types. The pricing is fair and the emcee is great, plus the staff is very friendly and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this place for a party or just a night out on the town!
Pros: music selection, atmosphere, staff
Cons: only open thursday, friday, saturday
