""Crepes A Go Go"" previously on N.Main Street is now ""Crepes Ooh La La"" now on Locust St. Colleague & I went here spontaneously during our lunch walk Wed (7/22/09) to try this new location out. Glad we did...ooh la la in deed for these crepes! LOCATION: Ok folks, the NEW addy is 1548 Locust St, Walnut Creek, CA 94596. In btw a deli-cafe restaurant & a massage parlor of some sort. Nothing but meter parking here folks. Outdoor seating optional w/ shade provided by building structure, no table umbrellas necessary. Inside, about 8 tables & plenty of armless chairs. Left side of restaurant, tables are aligned by the bench seat running across the length of wall, w/ chairs on the other side of tables. Right side of restaurant, all 4-seater tables have chairs. Long wall mirrors on both left & right side of restaurant giving illusion of larger space & helps reflect the light in here too. Overall place is clean, spacious, welcoming/friendly for anyone. CUST SVC: Stopped in just about 12:45pm on a Wednesday...only 2 employees (lady & gent) holdin' it down in here w/ hosting, waiting, cooking, & cashiering. Prob about 12 people dinning in at this time. Both were quick as they could be, polite, & friendly. I was getting concerned when we didn't get our water after sitting about 5min, but they came w/ our crepes...water could've used more ice too now that I think about it. CREPES: Colleague & I went for the Sweet Menu side *tee-hee*. She got Nutella & Banana, which she really enjoyed. I had Strawberries, Lemon, & Sugar, which was deeeelicous! My crepe had a nice taste & crunch on the outside & my strawberries were plenty AND fresh. The taste almost made me reminiscient of Kellog's Frosted Flakes w/ strawberries, just no milk...needless tho, it was very very good =) FINAL TAB: Colleague paid $6.01 & I paid $6.28. Pay up front @ the cash register & leave tip in their tip bucket next to register. Treat yourself to a sweet crepe here fo' sho'! They get my scrum-didly-umptous stamp of approval *tee-hee* ---------------- Savory Crepe Prices: $2 - $6.75 Savory Crepe Extras: $0.50 - $2.50 Sweet Crepe Prices: $2.50 - $8.50 Sweet Crepe Extras: $0.50 - $2.50 Pros: Large menu of Savory & Sweet Crepes; fresh food!
