This store is the worst store in Bemidji. Not only is it robbing from the small businesses, but it brings trash into the city. It is the most unclean store and many of employees are disgusting. I shouldn't talk badly about the workers there, but Wal-Mart will hire ANYONE to work! Many of the employees hate their jobs so much, that they wont even speak to you when you are in the check-out. Believe me, I am just as unhappy shopping there as they are working there. The store is also filled with customers; no matter what time of the day you go there it is busy. The parking is atrocious. Somedays (Especially the 1st of the month i.e. ""payday,"" and on the weekends), you might as well park over in the Target parking lot and just shop there. At least then you wont have to drive around the parking lot looking for that special parking spot. All I am trying to say is that you have to watch Wal-Mart carefully. Yes, it may seem that they have cheaper prices, but they don't on all their products. Anyway, is it worth going through the hassle in order to save a few dollars? Shop somewhere else and I promise you will be less stressed. I have lived in Bemidji for many years and I would be absolutely miserable everytime I left that store. It was overcrowded and they don't hire enough cashiers (because Wal-Mart owners are cheap bastards), so expect to be waiting in line for a long time. I don't shop there anymore and it has made me a happier person. I hope more people follow my lead. As for the staff at Wal-Mart, I don't mean to offend you. I know you work hard and have long hours with barely any pay. They just seem to attract people in with promises of management, but in actuality that rarely happens. So if you are thinking about working there, don't do it either. I had many friends who worked at the Bemidji Wal-Mart and they hated it. Their managers were rude and they hardly got any days off of work. So if you are looking for a job, try and find something else. Good Luck!
