This is one of Rochesters best restaurants, hands down. There is really nothing like it, very unique menu, greatly prepared food, simple enough to be fantastic, yet interesting enough to be big city worthy. The kitchen is open for diners to see (in the main dining room), and there is seating in the bar although that is usually for those who enjoy a more ""lively"" environment as it can get more uptempo. I actually enjoy that when I am with girlfriends, but if your looking for a more romantic setting, there are intimate tables in the main dining room. Servers are excellent and on top of everything, as well as knowledgable about the menu and how everything is prepared. It is definately a place to see and be seen, and there are many imitators although nothing close. For just a cocktail at the bar, for a special occasion, or just for lunch or dinner, Ihighly recommend 2-Vine. I have the feeling that many of these negative reviews may be from nearby restaurants who want some of their runoff business. Try if for yourself.

Cons: can get a bit crowded, they are ALWAYS busy!
