Review content:
Arriving with my date, we were seated promptly. It was early for dinner, so that was to be expected, however if we'd wanted a drink at the bar, that was an impossibility--too crowded. The din was almost unbearable and it never let up through our entire meal. I had a splitting headache when I left. We were crammed in between two entirely too-close tables. When they were filled with patrons, I felt that both of my neighbors' napkins were nearly inside my pockets. My date was dislodged several times with folks getting up to visit restrooms. Food was less than mediocre--in all a real disappointment, especially that those prices. 2Vine is definitely a 'haute cuisine' wannabe. The creme brulee was fraudulent--you cannot bake custard in a chocolate cup--it was instant pudding with a carmelized sugar-glaze. Veggie medley didn't contain the vegetables listed on the menu and the steak was disappointly mundane--cooked no better than in a hash-slinging diner. Save your money, your time, your palate and your nerves--Dine elsewhere!
