Review content:
I've been going to Dr. Isaacs for 15 years now and think he's the best. There was a time when I had to go to the Emergency Room while pregnant for a breathing problem. The ER docs couldn't find anything (though they barely tested me), and sent me off, despite the fact that I was turning blue from coughing fits that were closing up my throat. Dr. Isaacs gave me thorough tests and found that I had asthmatic bronchitis, exacerbated by the pregnancy. Problem solved. Over the years he's been similarly thorough and will always see me the day of, if I feel sick. Which is probably why there's always an hour long wait to get in to see him. But I schedule for that as I think he's a terrific internist and there simply aren't that many good GP's in NYC. Pros: Listens to his patients, very thorough, kind Cons: Always late
