Review content:
I love these guys. The butcher will order bison or duck or big lamb roasts or whatever I want and he's friendly about it. The cheese department has great specialty stuff-- marcona almonds! Trader Joe's is the only place I ever saw those before. The Giant Eagle produce people are knowledgable and themselves very sophisticated about food. If there's anything wrong, they make it right, even if I don't have my receipt. The people on the floor are cheery and helpful and answer questions as if I were a friend -- and I guess they consider me one. The checkout people know my preferences -- heavy sacks, in my case, and always have a cheery word, although they are also quick and accurate. I guess it's a good store for a foodie like me. And I like the food perks and gas perks. Prices seem fair, considering the excellent quality of everything there. I also like the fact that they hire college students and minorities. A good place. The food is trendy and gourmet, but the store also makes me feel like I am in the best grocery in a small town, where the owner wants me to be happy.
