Review content:
I HATE car problems and I, unfortunately, am one of those people who ALWAYS seem to have them. We've gone through shop after shop hoping to find an honest mechanic who will just repair the problem and charge us a reasonable price. Sounds pretty simple, right? I wish it were but it ISN'T!!! After a local repair shop kept our car for 4 days only to tell us they couldn't do anything about it because they didn't work on transmissions, we called Transmission Exchange and I still to this day can't believe how awesome they were/are. Normally when you tell a shop you have a warranty, they get a bit put out (I don't know why, they're still getting paid for the work) and make everything seem harder than it needs to be. At TransExchange, they not only welcomed my warranty but worked with them directly so I didn't have to and kept me updated on the progress both with my car repairs and the warranty's procedures. Their knowledge and expertise combined with their commitment to customer service and satisfaction blew me away. I was just waiting for the catch because everything went so well. Our car ran great after we picked it up until a month or two later when we had another problem with it. We took it to Murdock Chevrolet in Woods Cross and they told us it was a problem with the transmission. I thought, ""There's the catch. Just my luck. We're screwed."" I was wrong yet again. I called TransExchange about the problem and surprisingly, they didn't give me the ""Sorry but it's not our problem"" speech - they didn't even flinch or stutter. They took charge of the entire situation and backed their warranty 100%. They worked with Murdock directly and I didn't pay a dime for the repair because they are people of their word and honored the warranty they put on the new transmission. Wow! Accountability and integrity! This is not what we are used to in this business. When a consumer has trust and confidence in the services and business they deal with, they walk away with peace of mind and those business earn life long customers who will help build their clientele and reputation through word of mouth. I have and will tell everyone I know that they shouldn't trust their transmissions to anyone else except Transmission Exchange. THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES GUYS!!!!
