I recently moved to the area and have tried a few salons before finding Yvette and Samuel Cole. I had almost resigned myself to either having to travel out-of-state for good cuts and color or just deal with the lesser-skilled stylists I had found here. Luckily I stumbled onto reviews here and decided to give Samual Cole a try. Yvette is an extremely talented colorist and took the time to really think about the best ideas for my hair. Unlike most salons where they just bring out the bleach and start highlighting - Yvette went with 3 different colors that were complimentary to my skin tone and created a great new ""strawberry blonde"" look for me. You can tell by talking with her that she is very passionate about what she does. I also think it's great that she focuses on color only (no haircuts) and isn't the typical stylist we find around here that does ""ok"" color and ""ok"" haircuts. I am really happy with my results and would definitely recommend Yvette to anyone looking for a great color technician. After my color was done an assistant named Shannon did my blow-dry - she gave me a great style and even gave me tips on styling and ideas for products to use. She was also very friendly and did a great job. The salon is kind of tucked away and would probably be hard to notice if just driving by, but it is very well-maintained salon. I will definitely be going back to Yvette in the future for color and also plan to see someone else there for a haircut soon.
Pros: Yvette is great, nice salon, friendly people
Cons: Prices are a bit higher than other salons in the area
