I have super-baby-fine-short-blonde hair that likes to lay flat on my head at all times. Because of this, I have left so many salons in tears after asking for a body-defining cut... the tears are NOT an exaggeration. After so much struggle to find a competent stylist that actually KNOWS how to deal with fine hair, I saw all the wonderful reviews about Samuel Cole salon. I thought, what the heck, I'll give them a try. Just calling them on the phone for an appointment made me feel confident that my visit was going to be all about ME. Well, I was right. I had an appointment with the lovely Gay and hopefully she'll be sticking around for awhile (please don't ever leave NC!!). She assured me that my hair texture wasn't anything to complain about, and that she was going to give me a shape I would love. Though I didn't have an appointment for it, she recommended that I get some different shades of color to my hair for added dimension (which I've never had done before). She squeezed the cut and color into her schedule and showed me how to EASILY maintain the style with just a couple products. Sure enough, a month after the cut and my hair looks as good as it did the day I had it done. Not only did she take the time for consultation, but gave me advice about my hair, and also took time to teach me about various products for my hair. I left the salon looking magnificent, with an air of confidence and beauty that I have never before experienced. I left Samuel Cole in tears...of joy. Thanks, Gay.
Pros: Everything
Cons: A little pricey for a poor college student :-) But worth every penny nontheless
