Review content:
I visited Samuel Cole salon last week for a haircut and style. My stylist listened to what I wanted and was perfectly friendly. Because it was raining, she suggested that a curly style would be more appropriate because my hair has a tendency to frizz (but not curl). I agreed, and she proceeded to slightly blow-dry my hair. I expected her to finish up using a curling iron or a round brush to define my style, but instead she led me to the front of the store to encourage me to buy the products she had used on my hair, and then straight on to the receptionist, where she said goodbye, and it became clear that she had no intention of further styling my hair, which I had requested when I made the appointment and paid for. I realize now that I should have been more assertive, but I felt a little out of place to request more of her time if she had another client waiting (I had not been late, so there shouldn't have been a time issue). I'm pretty disappointed by the fact that I ended up walking out of an upscale salon with wet hair after paying a considerable amount of money for a cut AND style. I haven't yet decided if I'll return.
