Businiess name:  Jack's Stir Brewed Coffee
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I had read about Jack's Stir Brew prior to a recent trip to NYC but I didn't think I'd have time to get up to the Village to try it. Low and behold, there was a recently opened second shop about a one minute walk from my hotel in the South Seaport area. It's pretty small, but I read that it's bigger than the original location. Amazingly good coffee, and I'm a total coffee snob. It's true that he's able to brew very strong, dark roast coffee with very low acidity. Now I have to figure out how to simulate stir brewing and oxygenation at home, because I can't be going 3000 miles for a cup of coffee. Jack has spoiled me, and now my standards for coffee house coffee are too high for any other coffee house. He needs to patent his brewing method, and start selling the machines to independent coffee houses and destroy the evil empire. Pros: OMG--Best dark roast coffee I've ever had Cons: No branches in California
