Review content:
Went for that ""famous"" burger that I heard friends rave about. These people drove 50 miles for a burger, I figured it was worth my time to try it one day when I found myself in Santa Monica. It was served simply, but looked tasty. Not $12 tasty! But it had potential. It's served on a baquette with lettuce. I guess there was also some blue cheese, but I didn't taste much of it. What I did taste was the liquid smoke that they use on the meat. It's all I could really taste The flavor still grosses me out when I think back to it. The beer selection was good, especially for such a small place. A large selection of microbrews on tap. Yet, the Yard House sliders are better than this place any day and the wait for a seat is just as long.
