Special Children Center has provided my child with excellent therapies for just over 12 months. SCC is much more than a place for therapy. I have yet to encounter anything but exceptional therapists. Sometimes the office staff can be brisk, but I understand the difficult job they are performing every day. And they have cared very much about my child as an individual person - encouraging those around him to make decisions on what is best for Him. I just cannot imagine a better place for a child with special needs - great or small! And we must also not forget that SCC is a non-profit. And since the state did not consider my child's needs (they refused him services because he didn't test in the lowest 10 percent for his age group) I have had to fight the insurance battle - ugh! Pros: Excellent therapists!!! Cons: Can be costly, difficult at times to schedule, payment can be confusing
