I took my computer here because the keyboard wasn't working. He had it for two weeks and I didn't hear anything so I called to check up on his progress (something I wouldn't think I would have to do as a customer). He answered me very dismissively and told me it was the motherboard and he'd give me a call when he found a replacement. ANOTHER week went by and I finally had enough and actually stopped in to check on it. He told me it wasn't turning on, but the battery was charging, and that he still hadn't found the part so I just took it back. Once home, I tried turning it on, and it started up completely fine. I get the feeling that he was just trying to get my money. If I could get it turned on and he said it wouldn't at all, did he even do ANYTHING to try and fix it, or was he just going to guess that was the problem and then order a part and have me pay him more money? And lets not even mention the three weeks I was without a computer and now I still don't have one because he gave it back to me in the exact same condition. When I asked him for my money back he was a jerk about it and wouldn't even consider the things I was telling him. He offered to take it back, but why would I give it back to him for it to sit in his shop for ANOTHER three weeks or longer? Finally, when I realized he wasn't going to even give me a partial refund to help me out and make my experience with him a little better, I tried to walk out and he was still just yammering at me as I was leaving. He tried telling me that if he did ""troubleshooting"" (I use that term very loosely) on every computer for free he couldn't run his business (although I'm still not sure he even DID anything), but it seems to me that if you give your customers this bad of an experience, your business won't be very good either. Overall, this was a BAD experience, and a huge waste of time and money. I am very confident that ANYONE can find a better place to get their computer fixed.
