Review content:
When I called to order the bread sticks from Fox's Pizza Den in Central, I told them I had an Entertainment Book coupon for free bread sticks. I was informed if the address was not on the coupon, they would not accept it. I arrived to pick them up, gave the coupon, showed the Baton Rouge Entertainment Book, brought the Entertainment Book app up on my phone, which showed the coupon and the address, and they decided to take the coupon after calling the owner. Once we arrived at home, the kids were eating the bread sticks and complained about them being gooey. I looked and then took the remaining bread sticks to the store. The three employees were surprised that the dough was not cooked, and offered to replace the bread sticks with complimentary bread sticks. I told them I felt we received the uncooked bread sticks because of the coupon, and they denied it. I did not receive an apology. However, I was informed that they had no control over the bread sticks being undercooked and blamed it on the oven. When they said they could not help the bread sticks being undercooked and there was no way for them to know, I saw red. I asked if they would be upset if their family or kids ate uncooked bread sticks, they said yes, but they again blamed it on the oven. I asked the one family eating in the place to double-check their food to make sure it was cooked, and the employees asked me to leave. I told them I would not be back and they said they did not want me to come back. Really??? What food establishment does not take responsibility for their food being cooked? I sure hope the kids don't get sick from eating the uncooked bread sticks!
