I can not say how much we loved the Phillips Corn Maize!! It has a convenient location just off highway 55 between Apex and Durham. It had activities for all ages. The dads and older kids will like the corn cannon and pumpkin launchers. The younger kids will want to stay all day. My 3 year old boy stayed 6 hours and still didn't want to leave! There is a variety of activities that can catch any childs attention. They have concessions that are very reasonably priced. It is an outdoor event but there is plenty of shaded seating to take a break or nurse for new moms and there are two activities in a barn. The corn(sand)box is definetly a huge hit with children of all ages! Don't forget the main attraction the maize! This was by far one of the best local outings we have experienced! Too many fun things to name so check it out! Perfect for anyone!
