Review content:
I dined here twice for lunch in March 2007 at approx. 11:30 a.m. and early in the week. Food and service were solid then. On my recommendation, friends and I dined here at about 6:00 p.m. on a Sunday. Mistake. It was not overly crowed as approx. 8-10 tables remained available. Menus and drinks arrived quickly. Twenty two minutes passed before the waitress would stop to take our order. It was unclear why she avoided us. It took 35 minutes to receive sandwiches/meals, no special requests, nothing cooked well done. The bacon burger didn?t have any bacon, the bun was right from a bag, not heated, not toasted, and the fries were under cooked. The cooks floundered on a basic burger. The other meals were skimpy this time. The waitress was always attentive so what seemed to be a waitress problem initially seems more likely to be a kitchen problem. Maybe she was dragging her feet to buy the kitchen some time. Short staffed kitchen, inexperienced or inept cooks, the problem is unclear. My friends won?t return and I am a doubtful unless it?s an early lunch early in the week. Go elsewhere for a good burger. The Sunday eve staff blew it. What a shame.
Pros: Great location. Nice remodel. As of 3/2007 easy table for early unch. Go when slow.
Cons: If it's half full, the kitchen staff flounders. Weak burgers.
