Review content:
Stopped in at Cafe' Nura today for breakfast and a little social time. The oatmeal that I ordered was cooked to perfection and accompanied by walnuts, granola, brown sugar, cream and a banana! It was delicious, oh, and the coffee was quite good too. I have been stopping in at Nura from time to time for a while now and I always find myself feeling right at home. The owner Remy is a gem, she genuinely enjoys her customers and I always get the impression that, that is why she opened this charming little place. She loves to be a part of this amazing little community that she has fostered here since she opened. I do not know how she has managed it but this little coffee house is all about the people. She has a friendly and welcoming staff, a delightful assortment of foods and drinks, and the atmoshere is charming with enchanting ""real"" fine art on the walls, tables and booths for enjoying a meal or working with or without your computer, and a sofa for lounging in the back room when you just want quality quiet time with your coffee and a friend. I have seen a kids and coffee clutch in the back room, working artists painting and drawing, and buisness meetings away from the office as well as groups of local buisness people getting together for a little time relaxing with friends. Everyone is there to enjoy themselves and the gentle cafe' atmosphere that is warm and familiar. I look forward to returning to Cafe' Nura for the home baked scones and the chicken dish that Remy's Mother makes on Mondays. I have to warn you though, if you plan on stopping in. There never seem to be any strangers there; once you enter the door you become a part of this little community and that is a refreshing change that will leave those corporate coffee houses feeling a little too empty and a little too cold.
