VHI did an exceptional job installing our new windows and doors! The experience was perfect from start to finish. Doug came by to help us pick windows and was no-pressure, straightforward, and honest. The installers did a superb job installing 17 new windows to replace the original 1948 windows in our home. A few of the original windows were problematic, but the VHI installers were very experienced and knew just what to do. They replaced all the old metal trim outside and it looks excellent. The installers were very respectful of our home and cleaned everything up perfectly (and were very nice to our 4 cats!). The entire project was done in a very timely manner.
I spent over a month researching windows and contractors. We ended up with far better windows, for less cost, than all other contractors we looked at (including Lowe's). I can't say enough good things about VHI. I very highly recommend VHI to everyone. I know it is stressful searching for the right contractor, and I spent a lot of time searching for the best window company in central OK. I am very confident I found the best in VHI. If you are looking for new windows/doors/etc, do yourself a favor and call VHI.
(TIP: The big chain stores like Lowe's carry brands like Pella that have name-recognition but are not as good. Everyone thinks Pella is great, but the windows I got from VHI (WinCore) put Pella to shame and cost less too. Also, Lowe's is a massive chain store that will not be hurt by a poor window installation or even 100 poor window installations. A local company like VHI has a reputation to protect and one bad installation could really hurt their business. For local companies, it is in their interest to do the best job possible. Plus, you aren't paying for their advertising, high overhead costs, CEO salaries, etc. I saved about 20% going with VHI instead of Lowes and got much better windows with MUCH better installation.)
