Review content:
We are long-standing customers of Michael's. Every Sunday night (barring snow storms or illness) we are there!! Never had a bad meal there...until the last two. Keep in mind, the original owner, Judy, was a good friend of ours. She passed away several years ago, and we feared the quality would go downhill. Now it has. The prime rib used to be TOP NOTCH. Now it is tasteless and tough. The au jus is nothing but a cup of bouillon. I have always had the SAFR lobster tail. The second last one was stone cold, the one last night was tough and had an odd fishy taste. Overcooked, and probably too old. The soup was ""beef burgundy."" A solid cup of gravy. NASTY. Neither one of us ate it. Even the hot loaf was lousy bread. We met the chef...he is ""new"" from the last one we met. I don't think he's the guy to keep this place afloat. Not sure if we'll be back. So sad.
