You wll not find another place like this in midtown with these prices (maybe Rudy's 45 & 9th) thus it can get crowded very quickly. Unfortunately, lately the young crowd found out about this place and they crowd out the regular drinkers and tourists spending money while nursing their one beer for 2 -3 hours. Jimmy, the owner, manages a tight ship as in "" no politics or religion discussions aka arguments"" are allowed. He keeps watch over who is getting too drunk and asks them very politely to leave. Jimmy has a good sense of humor believe me. As far as the person below who said the owner was drunk and threw her out , I say B.S. Jimmy's Corner just wants respectable people to have a good relaxing time and he appreciates your business.
Pros: diverse crowd, Jimmy & Swanee, cheap good drinks, jukebox
Cons: Small, eurotrash female bartenders with attitude
