Today I discovered the greatest hidden gem in Provo?.Center Street Deli. I am really excited about this new place so I want to spread the word. The owners recently moved here from New York and are trying to get this business up and running.
This afternoon I enjoyed the daily special: a turkey pastrami sandwich with pumpkin soup. The sandwich had freshly sliced meat with lots of melted provolone cheese, and a little bit of spicy dijon mustard (I didn?t opt for any mayonnaise?. yuck). The star of this meal was definitely the pumpkin soup. It was a pumpkin broth with a wonderful blend of spices coupled with a very unique garnish consisting of chopped green apples, cranberries, celery, and red onion. The pumpkin broth was perfectly creamy and the garnish added the perfect crunch for texture. I wish my words could do this food justice!
I snagged a punch card and a take away menu. Thank goodness they do delivery!
So when making your weekend plans, think Center Street Deli. Make sure to check out their website and friend them on Facebook. There are always coupons and deals to take advantage of.
