Having read lots of good things in the local ""Hometown News"" (where, incidentally, this restaurant routinely runs full page ads) I went there with great expectations. It began fine with very cold beer in iced goblets and a salad that was totally delicious and unique. Bravo for the salad and beer. I can't comment on the appetizer of a shrimp basket because it never arrived. Waitress said she put the order in and then it's up to the kitchen to get it out. Really? My entree was a shrimp tortellini in a garlic cream sauce served on a plastic plate with a plastic fork & knife. My first thought was $19 for a entree and it gets served with plastic? Then I tasted the shrimp and they were so overcooked that they tasted like the plastic plate. The tortellini and cream sauce were just OK but not $19 OK. My guest ordered the catch of the day which was blackened swordfish at $22. The price would lead you to believe that something great was coming. Nope! The fish was not blackened and tasted like it was sauteed. My guest felt that at best this was at best a $7.95 entre. Also, each entre supposedly comes with 2 side dishes, one of which was the salad talked about earlier. My second side never arrived and it seems to have joined the shrimp basket which was also MIA. If you are going to spend this kind of money, you can get great food down the road at the Chart House which for the same price serves consistently good food and they do so with linen, china and silverware.
