Review content:
Okay, here it goes. Last week, we stopped in to Norman Chrysler, Dodge in Oklahoma. My husband stated up front that due to a divorce he went through several years ago, his credit score was not good. We had spotted a Chevrolet truck in the wholesale lot, which was for 7900. After talking with Mr. Pritchard for a little while and listened to his song and dance about why a place won't finance an older car. He says that he could get us into a new vehicle, fully knowing what my husband's credit score is. After a while, they do their credit check I suppose to make sure we weren't lying, then tells us that we needed to stay around the 10,000 line. Okay...he (Dean Pritchard) takes us around to the older used cars and lo and behold there is a pretty 2005 Chevrolet Silverado there for a little over 10,000. I had to get to work so, Mr. Pritchard told us that he would work some numbers and my husband was supposed to come back after he dropped me off for work. He didn't get to go back that night, so, next day, about 3 in the afternoon, we get a call from Mr. Pritchard telling my husband that the truck basically was his, we just needed to come in and get the paperwork done. We show up after working 3rd shift with 2 hours of sleep at 4 p.m. to get everything take care of. When we arrive, he is busy with a customer and asks us to sit down. After he finally comes over, he says he has to go get the numbers, he returns and sits down and makes some kind of excuse and we sit there for about 40 minutes or so, then he goes to ""check."" He comes back and says, ""Well, I have some bad news. Because of your credit score none of our financers will finance you."" We are like WHAT? you told us to come down here and pick up the truck. We were totally shocked, and I didn't know what to say. My husband looked so humiliated and I felt sorry for him. Bottom line people, they don't do what they say BEWARE! Bait and switch tactics. Cons: Horrible place. Liers
