Novo is located at 13th and Oak with ample parking in the back. The staff is friendly, the salon is comfortable, yet stylish and the prices are AFFORDABLE (and for a single working parent, that is important.) Pessa is my stylist there and she provides me with a beverage before she gets down to business. After she inquires what I want (and makes some very helpful suggestions) it's off to the wash. She provided me with a warmed towel to support my neck and used great smelling products on my hair (which, by the way, also detangled and made my hair soft.) She is sensitive of my time (my co-workers were amazed that I could get a wash, cut and style in a little over my lunch hour.) I had several people comment on how nice my hair looks. The staff helps one another out as well, which is great to see a team environment in what could be a cut-throat business (no Barber of Seville puns here.) Lastly, the salon is locally-owned, which is really important to me. I HIGHLY recommend not only the salon but Pessa's services, as she is willing to do what I want while being creative and professional. Service with a smile is not lacking at Novo.
