Any restaurant that serves tater tots wrapped in bacon as an appetizer is okay in my book. The food is excellent. The prices are fantastic. The service is wonderful. I just discovered Fran's- we went for dinner but I've heard it's a great lunch place too - recently and we will be back . . . often. It's a great place to meet up with some friends for a casual dinner. I give it four stars only because it's not pretending to be a high-end 5 star restaurant. It's a place where the food carries the day and it does so with a unique and fun menu. This is the sort of establishment you wish you'd see more of in Charlotte. I highly recommend it.
Pros: Great Casual Eating. Interesting Menu.
Cons: Small. Very limited wine list.
