I've been to Alter Ego twice and I have recommended it to all of my co-workers and friends. The first time I got a pedicure. They don't have the ""spa foot bath"" or the massaging chair that other places have, but they make up for it with a reallllly good foot and leg massage and some good conversation. On my second visit, I got a hair cut and I was very pleased with the way my hair turned out. I didn't know what I wanted to do, but I wanted a change. Katelyn was very good at helping me figure out what I wanted by talking through what I liked and didn't like about previous cuts. Also, you get plenty of free samples when you go, and that's a good thing.
Pros: free samples, discounts for referrals, convenient location, easy to book
