Review content:
Thalassa is such a great hidden treasure. The outside is so simple but when you enter you think you just arrived on a Greek Island. The Matr'd and the Fresh fish greets you as you walk in, had a Greek fish , cooked perfectly, nice simple sides not to creative but good, the apps where very creative and delicious , try the fish soup as well, dessert warm custard pie, i forgot the name. Wine selection is totally amazing they have everything !! We decided since at a Greek restaurant lets drink a greek wine, impressive Greek wines, waiter recommended a Greek varietal but I decided to drink a Greek Cab first and selected the wine by looking for the most Greek original sounding name, by total chance it drank very well, the second bottle drank a xino greek varietal was also good the dessert wine is ok a little to sweet for me. We are axious to go back, although Tribeca is far for us but its worth the trip. Also had a selection of greek cheeses with desserts they where good the one i like and buy it all the time at Graces Market, dodonis. Pros: Great Hidden Treasure, Seafood, Greek Wines - Heathy
