Review content:
I recently had a ton of dry cleaning which included mostly designer and high end items. When I took these (45) items to my usual drycleaner I was told that it would cost over $200 (closer to $300) to clean everything. THAT drycleaner (much to my amazement) suggested that I look for a ""wholesale cleaners"". I really had no clue what a ""wholesale drycleaner"" was but during my search I came across Zips Dry Cleaners. Not thrilled about spending hundreds of dollars I decided to give Zips a try. WOW?. SO happy that I made that decision .... what a GREAT experience from START to FINISH! Upon entering (with this HUGE pile of cleaning that included wool winter coats, wool dress pants, sweaters, multiple SILK shirts and SILK dresses) I was a greeted by a very friendly store associate. She was by no means even phased by the amount of clothing that I kept piling onto the counter and proceeded to organize and distribute all the clothing into bags. It went very smoothly and efficiently. After she had checked in everything in she presented me with a grand total which made me do back flips ..... all that clothing and it was UNDER $90!!!! She then told me that I could come back the NEXT day for it! However I don't live in the area and let her know that I most likely wouldn't be back the following week. WELL ... (and this is REALLY the most amazing part), the day I dropped the clothing off I received a phone call (Linda) letting me know that there wasn't a ""care tag"" on one of the items and wanted to ask if they should proceed or just leave that untouched .... I told them to ""go for it"".... the next day I received another call (maybe Linda again) letting me know that a button came off during cleaning and again wanted to know if their seamstress should sew it back on or did I want my own tailor to do it .... again I told them ""go for it"" ..... I was so impressed and grateful that Zips was so attentive. Now here?s THE BEST ...... apparently one of the shirts sustained a little (and I mean a little damage) during the cleaning ..... again Linda called to not only inform me of this but to ask what the cost of the shirt was and if I would or could bring in the receipt that they would reimburse me for the cost!!!!! Unbelievable and unreal!!! I have NEVER and I mean NEVER had that happen, in fact it?s usually the COMPLETE opposite, most cleaners take NO responsibility for ANYTHING that might happen. When I finally arrived to pick up this massive amount of cleaning EVERYTHING was bagged beautifully and in perfect order. In addition it didn't have that ""dry cleaning smell"". I saw the shirt that was ""damaged"" ..... honestly it was no big deal ..... it would have happened at ANY cleaners. I can't say enough wonderful things about ZIPS ..... the only ""bad"" thing is that there isn't a Zips around my neighborhood but it is worth it for me to bring my cleaning when I know that I'm going to be in the area. Zips is ***** (5 star)!!!
