Review content:
Every piece is an original; every brushstroke unique. At ODunn Fine Art, every piece of artwork hanging on the walls or displayed in the center of the room is one of a kind. Like art exhibited in a museum, the in ODunn Fine are exquisitely framed and cared for. Ranging from twentieth century European and American listed artists, The Deads as they are know in the trade, to Contemporary local active artists, ODunn Fine Art boasts one of the greatest fine art collections available for sale in San Diego County. Owner Shannon ODunn?s father was a painter. She has been buying art for a gallery since the 60?s, and interestingly served as the Dean of Communications and Fine Arts, made a run for elected office in two distinct La Mesa elections - once for the college?s Board of Directors, and then again for the La Mesa City Council. That ambition shows in her gallery. There are many intriguing features throughout the store that set a refined, elegant tone when you walk through the door. Plenty of seating sits in proximity to the gallery?s affectonatly titled ?Queen? chair for visitors and/or serious collectors to sit and chat. ODunn Fine Art is more than just an art gallery; several times a year, the store becomes the backdrop for an art exhibit that Shannon arranges. Since the scheduling of these art exhibits depend on so much, checking her website will help you know when one is planned. If youre working on a collection or just want an exquisite piece of art in your home, ODunn Fine Art is the place to go.
