I have a laptop that had a problem picking up a wireless network.. Took it into computer bytes to have it repaired. I took my computer to the store on 3500 South and 300 west in Salt lake city. I was promissed that the computer would be repaired for $49 plus tax. My computer was never fixed, but, I had to pay to get my computer back. I eventually sent the laptop back to HP to be repaired because it was no longer under waranty. HP contacted me as soon as they got my computer to tell me that My Wireles PCI card was incompatible with my computer. I could not believe it. Someone at Computer Bytes took a perfectly good wireless PCI card out of my computer and replaced it with a incompatible wireless card. Returned to the store and they all lied. they were covering for each others lies. I was never able to speak to the owner. They were all confused about who the actual owner was. To this day I have not been reimbursed for them stealing something from me. I have been bitten. Very shy now. I hope someone will read this before taking their computer to computer bytes.
Pros: There's a higher power they will have to answer to.
