I find it rather funny that RMA of Oregon's website states they respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner. I have lived in an apartment managed by RMA for a little over a year. The only reason I've stayed is because I was a student and could not afford to move out. There has been an enormous amount of problems with the dwelling. Some outlets/lights don't work, the building is poorly insulated which has led to a problem with condensation and mold, and there has been a leak in the bathroom which is causing the bathroom floor to sink in. On average it has taken RMA 2 weeks to 2 months to respond to maintenance requests and send either a vendor or handyman out. Many times the repair person has made the problem worse. After 4 calls in the span of 2 months to RMA, they finally sent someone out to ""fix"" the toilet. This person only made the problem worse, so now the floor around the toilet is sinking in. I have given up. I will be moving soon and it will not be to a residence managed by RMA. Pros: Newer appliances, location, rental prices, friendly leasing agents Cons: Unqualified repairmen, flakey and irresponsible when it comes to maintenance requests
