My dad took me to Hubers the first time over 50 years ago when I was just 10 years old. I remember thinking that it was a special place even then. A few years later I worked downtown and would go there for lunch a couple of times a month and always loved it. Somehow it kind of slipped off the radar in the last several years and even though we eat out a lot we never thought about Hubers. Last night we were in the area so I took my wife there for dinner and discovered that they still know how to serve great food at a great price. The service was spot on and the place has a certain comforting charm to it. (except for the chairs I think those are left over from 50 years ago) you would think they could invest in something more comfortable. Pros: Great food and service Cons: very uncomfortable chairs, a bit noisy
