I surprised my wife on St. Valentine's Day with a visit to the new Spa Agio in Redmond. The staff and the luxurious surroundings greatly exceeded my expectations and made for one of the most romantic experiences we have ever had. The place is beautiful and while it is luxurious there are no haughty airs here. The staff made us feel at home, yet pampered. Starting with the ritual foot bath we then moved to a couples' wine bath where we sipped champagne and bathed our cares away in a hot tub filled with wine extracts and oils. From there, feeling very relaxed from the effects of the hot water and the champagne we moved on for some body work. My wife had a massage (she is a very experienced person when it comes to massages) and I had one of the most interesting episodes of body work I have ever had. On staff there is a reflexologist named Wayne who is incredibly skilled at his craft. What made the experienc an ""over the top"" on for me is Wayne is also a medical intuitive. That is just by manipulating one's feet he can pinpoint areas in one's life that may be causing problems. At first I was skeptical, but I soon realized he was telling me things that were true that he had no way of knowing beforehand. I highly recommend Spa Agio--it is truly distnctively better than others I have visited!
