Unless you like verbal abuse, enjoy being yelled at or simply want to have someone vent their frustration and misplaced anger of the world at you, I suggest you go elsewhere. If there were a way to give a ""negative stars"" or less than 1 star, I would do so.
Byron (the owner) is a serious mental case. He is truly one of the most unpleasant, angry, foul mouthed and abusive people I have ever had the misfortune to speak with. He has a strong tendency to yell at the top of his lungs and call people very ugly names.
There are many good hydroponics shops in the area (San Diego Hydro is my personal choice) where you will get excellent service by a friendly staff. I would avoid GROWaLot as I would avoid spider mites, powdery mildew or the plague.
