Da Vinci's is up the street from our new house and we tried them to check out the local pizza joint. DANG !! are we in luck !! I am a pizza lover, and have a discerning palate, and have had pizza from all over the USA plus other countries.. Da Vincis really hits the spot every time.. Personally I am not a fan of ""hand tossed"" crust because it usually has that layer of uncooked dough under the cheese which is disgusting to me. By asking for a ""double"" par-bake, this pizza is as near to pizza crack I have ever had. Not only is the crust superb, but the SAUCE is SO good... its not that thin, light red, weak flavor marinara, but it is the tangier, dark red, thicker tomato paste based sauce that is heaven on a crust... team that up with some high quality ""Mootzarell"" and you got a pie !! This weekend we tried Fritti, due to the reputation, but Sunday we ordered a DaVinci and it smoked Fritti pizza.. Sorry to the high falootin trendy overrated joint, but the hole in the wall kicked your ass !! Pros: phenominal pizza Cons: hmmmmm......
