I have been around hair stylists and salons most of my adult life. My Ex was a stylist at a very posh and famous salon in Beverly Hills. Everytime I got my hair done it was a completele drag-waiting forever, snotty receptionists, etc. The first time I walked into Gillian Bisett I thought to myself, ""This is what getting your hair done should be like~a treat!"" My stylist is Waylan Whelan-(she is named after the famous Waylan Jennings)she is professional, creative and fun! I absolutely adore her! I brought her a drawing of a long shag bob. She said, ""let's give it a try!"" She spent a long time w me and never once did I get a snotty vibe from her, like most stylists from upscale salons. By the end of my cut, color and blow dry I was completely re-newed, revived and re-done. And....beautiful! She is the best stylist hands down! She is also a delight to talk to;her background is very interesting. If you want to really be good to yourself, I highly recommend Waylon at the Gillian Bisset Salon.
Pros: Centrally Located~Very Elegant
Cons: busy-if that is a draw back.
