If someone asked me which restaurant I was frequenting the most these days, I have to answer it's Drago Centro. Whether it's for lunch, dinner or happy hour, you can find me there.
For lunch, they offer a panini bar. Sidle up to the bar and ask for the menu. There's several panini options and all under $10. Plus, I had a wonderful heaping plate of beet salad for only $3.
For dinner, I love their pastas. But it's the big meaty dishes where they shine.
For their all day bar menu (read: happy hour all day, every day), my picks are the Kobe sliders (only $7!) and sausage pizza (only $4). Plus, there's $5 cocktails that change seasonally.
After 5 p.m., they offer complimentary valet parking with validation.
Drago Centro may be the best happy hour in DTLA but I love it for just about everything else as well.
