Review content:
This was my second visit to Farallon in six months. I can't be objective since I don't like seafood. I had some type of beef on my first visit (it was OK) and the pork chop on my second visit (it was great - the sauce was superb! and it wasn't overcooked). My companion on the first visit thought his seafood was good (but not great) and my companion on the second visit thought her seafood was ""wonderful."" Dessert on the first visit wasn't memorable; we passed on dessert the second visit. Service on both visits was friendly and efficient; decor is fine; but the place is loud. It's not a ""romantic"" or ""intimate"" dinning experience.
The booths/tables generously seat 5 or more. On my first visit I was seated upstairs. On my second visit, we sat in the back with the huge tables and lots of tourists (and teenagers).
Pros: Not much
