Review content:
My BF and I wanted a nice seafood dinner on a Friday night, so we tried Farallon. It was really good. We started with pork terrine for me and stuffed calamari for him. His was fantastic: the calamari was cooked perfectly and the mushroom sauce that accompanied it was to-die-for. My terrine was good, but nowhere close to his. For the main course, I order bluenose bass with butternut squash and baby lentils, and he order sole with creamy crab and mixed vegetables. The bass was magnificent! It was prepared perfectly and complemented divinely by the lentils and squash. His sole was good, but unremarkable. We had little tasting spoons of bloodorange sorbet + cream for dessert, which was a nice touch. The wine menu is great, too, the Scherrer Pinot we ordered was top-notch. Service was very good.
Pros: Setting, seafood, service
Cons: Somewhat noisy, menu a bit inconsistent
