Hanbury Manor does offer nice apartments for the price and location and they are pet friendly. I live in a 2/2 997 sq ft for $599/mth + water, sewer and garbage which is about $50/mth. There is no covered parking which stinks, but there are garages with remote that you can rent for $40/mth. There are 108 apartments in this complex and ONLY 1 maintenance man. It took 3 weeks for the maintenance man to put weather stripping on my front door. While he was here, he said I needed a ""sweep"" as well and that he would have to order one. That was about 3 weeks ago, and still no sign of him. He's a good guy, but WAY OVER swamped. There also seems to be a waiting list for garages. The maintenance man does not have his own shop therefore using probably 1/2 the garages on this property. DUMB! Hanbury Manor could be making money on these garages if they would just build a workshop for the maintenance guy. There is no pool. There is a small workout room. The volleyball court is a weed infested sand court which no one uses. The basketball court is probably a 1/4 the size of a real court with one hoop with NO net and no lines. When I moved in 3 years ago, the girl in the office at that time told me I could house and use a gas grill on the property as long as I did it about 20ft from my porch and that I CANNOT house the ""gas"" on the property. I used my grill at least once a week for 3 years! Now, 3 years later, a different girl in the office says that there were no grills EVER allowed on the property. She even contacted the first girl, while I was in the office asking about this situation, about this issue and she says she NEVER told anyone grills were allowed. THAT IS A BOLD FACE LIE! I know what I was told. My mother even heard the girl talking to me about me using the grill when we were looking at the apartment before we rented it. YOU DECIDE!
