Review content:
We loved the old Palms Thai, but they moved to a shiny neon mall spot in east Hollywood. The ambieance is gone, it was ridiculously crowded, and the service was beyond terrible. It was so loud that our waitress was screaming into her headpiece, and they still couldn't hear her. Forget about having a conversation.
We were with a group of 6 - it took us 15 minutes to get our drinks, then half the entrees arrived before we received our appetizers. We waited another 10 minutes for the other entrees. We ordered another round of drinks and the hostess came over and said ""We need to turn over your table, so can you wrap it up?""!!! We had only been there for about an hour, and were still waiting for our order!
Food's still good, but there are plenty of better Thai restaurants in LA without the hassle.
Pros: food, cheap
Cons: awful service, too crowded, too loud
