Have you ever been to a restaurant that youre just sure will be great, but turns out to be a disappointment? Its definitely the case with Kikugawa. It has the potential for greatness. But it just drops the ball on details.
We sat in the front facing the city. Youll immediately notice the cheap tables and chairs that kill the otherwise well-done decor. This was only one of many missed details. We ordered the gourmet dinner which turned out to be several samples of various types of fish, chicken, and beef all in the exact same Teriyaki sauce. The exact same. Mmmmm, this tastes like the last dish! The waitress was very overworked, even for a Thursday.
Overall, we felt it was a sub-par fast-food-ish restaurant trying to be more than it is. If youre looking for ok food with a great view, check this out. Otherwise dont.
