Review content:
I had my first 2 kids at the Durham Women's Clinic. I have always used the midwives there although you do see the doctors too in your prenatal visits. I believe they have significantly cut down on the midwifery services though. Both pregnancies/births had some kind of complication and the doctors and midwives were all very great. My kids are healthy and perfect! The staff is very personable. Their onsite phlebotemist/med tech. is the best. If you are afraid of needles, she is the one to go to. I never feel like anything is happening to me when she draws blood. You can tell the doctors genuinely care...they seem like uncles and aunts to me. My 2 complaints are 1. sometimes I have to wait a long time to be seen as they are busy and 2. sometimes some of the nurses seem grumpy (they're usually very nice) but they are more human to me that way. When we move back to Durham, they will definitely be my OB/GYN again. I would recommend them highly.
