Review content:
it's been over two months now and this time I've gotten no thank you card, no thanks for doing business with us. I no longer matter to Motley Salon..two months ago I went in to have layers put in my long hair, the cut took over an hour, the more she talked the more she cut... the last ten minutes of that cut I thought I was going to be sick... you know that feeling where there is no return and you can't do anything about it. I have thin - fine hair.. and anyone cutting my hair (this was not my first time there) would know that but I don't know if it would have mattered if I had thick hair... the cut was like a grown out mullet. short on top and the front with party in the back. I paid $38 for a mullet, I know I don't understand it myself. it made me sick to even look in the mirror. I didn't want to go back there but it needed to be fixed.. everyone told me to go back and have them fix it. I now have a bob (somewhat), my hair no longer touches my shoulders, when they were almost done I asked them to straighten it but they said they wanted to make it wavy because that's how I like to style my hair. Two days later I straightened my hair... I have layers on one side of my head but not the other... my hair is so short that I'm wearing it like this until it grows a bit. The reason I decided to go there was because they were rating number one in Madison but now I wonder who gave them that rating... I was a customer and I can tell you I will not be going back. I've told the forty+ people that I work with.. actually they wanted to know so that they didn't go there. The students in my program have seen what has happened to my hair and will not be going there, my family and friends will not be going there.
Pros: first hair cut was great
Cons: last hair cut was and still is a nightmare.
